My belief is that good design should make life a little easier, not just look good doing it. That's pulled me increasingly toward medical design, where the stakes are real and the smallest decisions can change how someone experiences their day.

A modular public bench pressed from oyster-shell waste and recycled HDPE — engineered to a safety factor of 3, tested to 10.

A pendant lamp of layered, laser-cut steel and aluminium — its silhouette pulled from the way light bends around a black hole.

The Ritual
A gooseneck kettle built around the ritual of matcha — single-degree control, a balanced pour and a soft-open lid.
Beyond the finished pieces
The lab — where most
of it actually happens.
Welding, pressing, grinding, casting. Material tests and half-ideas that never became projects, and a few that did. It's messier than the work above, and it's the part I enjoy most.
